STEEL PROPHET: 'Beware' Recording Sessions Nearing Completion

STEEL PROPHET guitarist Steve Kachinsky has issued the following update on the recording sessions for the group's new album, entitled "Beware":

"We have completed all bass, drum and guitar tracks for 'Beware' in addition to three songs with complete lead vocals. We need to finish six more vocal songs and some miscellaneous keyboards and mixing will commence. The recording process was slowed down slightly by the fire, but more so by an accident involving a large hole in my middle finger. It was unfortunately on the hand that frets the notes and they would have liked to have stitched it, but I was lucky they just decided to tape it together. It happened three weeks ago and it is still taped, but it has scabbed over and is healing. The tip was intact so I was able to continue tracking.

"This Wednesday we begin shooting a video for the song 'Leatherette' which will be our first 'pro' video. Shooting will be in Burbank and we are still looking for a couple extras, so if you live in the LA area and would like to be an extra send an email to [email protected]. The video will be included as a bonus on the European version of the new CD. We also hope to get it played on MTV2, Sattelite Metal Shows, etc. We hope Intromental Management and Massacre Records will have good luck with that end of it. Photos for the new album have already been shot and will be selected soon."
